The Sun Mullet was designed and developed by Adam Danner. In his late 20’s , Adam was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer, and became serious about sun protection. Not a big fan of sunscreens, Adam began searching for sun protective products to battle the Florida sun. The idea of a “flap attachment” came while playing a round of golf and placing a simple towel under his regular ball cap. Whether at a sporting event, the beach, or working outside as a contractor, Adam figured there must be a product that could be compatible with any headwear he was wearing at the time. There wasn’t!

So he had his wife sew a small washcloth to a simple headband, and the first prototype was born. Many iterations and years from there ultimately became the uniquely designed Sun Mullet. Adam encourages everyone to be sun cautious whether its wearing a Sun Mullet or some other form of protective clothing.
